On February 3, 2026, Porter Lodge proudly hosted our traditional annual Chili Cookoff, and once again it proved to be an evening full of flavor, laughter, and fraternal fellowship. Brothers, family members, and friends gathered to enjoy a wide variety of chilies, each crafted with pride and a competitive spark.
The competition was friendly but fierce, with bragging rights on the line and plenty of good-natured ribbing to go around. Some chilies were mild, some bold, and others packed a serious kick—but every entry was enjoyed and appreciated. In the end, there were winners and there were those who will surely be back next year seeking redemption, but everyone left satisfied and smiling.
This year’s top honors went to Brian Austin, whose very tasty chili delivered a perfectly balanced and spicy kick that stood out among an impressive field of contenders. Congratulations to Brian for earning well-deserved bragging rights until next year!
Most importantly, the evening was a reminder of what makes Porter Lodge special: Brothers and families coming together, sharing food, laughter, and fellowship. Full bellies, great memories, and a strong sense of community made this year’s Chili Cookoff another resounding success.
